Hello,It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitorswill blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts calledcapacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you aregood at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix the problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should workfine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and -connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one thesame way.I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.BuddyCorporate ComputerOver 21 years of computer and printer support/repairPosted on Aug 10, 2009.

First off, info on computer: This is an Asus Laptop running Windows 10 with an Intel i7-4720HQ Processor. So this has been a recurring issue I've had with my computer for a while now, but depending on if something on my screen is inherently darker or brighter my screen would then dim or brighten itself respectively. Zenmate vpn premium crack pc. I mean, already it makes no sense to dim already dark things to near unreadable levels and brighten already bright things to blinding quality, but what in the world is causing this to happen?I've tried several things already through googling, such as turning off adaptive brightening, disabling Intel's 'Power Saving Technology', and disabling some 3rd party display programs. Nothing seems to be solving the issue as it keeps rearing its horrifically ugly head every once in a while which prompts me to double check if all the changes I've made are still there, which they are.
It makes playing games and video watching a horrendous experience because of the constant brightening and dimming. Honestly, who in their right mind thought this was a 'good' addition to computer functionality?Any help is appreciated.
